Pine Grove Baptist Church

93 Pine Grove Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120.

The earliest story reflects that the church was founded in the late 1800s, not far its present location. The new location was on land donated by Mr. Rush Pine, a prominent citizen and landowner. In gratitude, the church was named in his honor. A woodframe building was erected with the laying of a cornerstone in 1904 under the episcopal leadership of Bishop Neal Turner. The present building was begun in 1955 under the leadership of Rev A.J. Marble and completed in 1957.
