EVHS acquired this beautiful 50+ acre historic Rydal property. The original cabin is documented as a Cherokee-built home. In 1913 it was purchased by Corra Harris who added on to the original cabin and built 8 other buildings using the property as her home, office, and farm.

It is the hope of EVHS that “In The Valley” will be restored to offer an educational venue for meetings, tours, or events. Contributions will support this initiative unless indicated otherwise on the donation page.
