Friendship Baptist Church was organized in the home of a charter member on September 22, 1947. Construction of the church building began almost a year later in July of 1948. The building was finished, and the first services were held at the church in March 1949. The church cemetery is located on church property next to the church building. In the past seventy years, there have been several structural changes to the church, including the additions of an education building, fellowship hall, and a pastorium. The membership of the church has also grown to well over 450 members. Friendship Baptist Church is located at 606 Cassville Road, Cartersville, GA 30120, which can be viewed on this Bartow Baptist Church map at https://goo.gl/maps/9uTux1G4ZvQ2.
