Faith Baptist Church was established on January 15, 1989. Three days earlier, a group of people met in a home in Cartersville with the intention of creating a Baptist church. They met officially for the first time as Faith Baptist Church on January 15 in the home of one of the founding members. For the first three months, the church met back and forth between the houses of members. They then had the ability to rent and renovate a store in downtown Cartersville to serve as their church building. In the fall of 1991, the church purchased three acres of land and built a permanent church location that opened in 1992. Faith Baptist Church is located at 1024 Mission Road, Cartersville, GA 30120, which can be viewed on the Bartow Baptist Churches Map at https://goo.gl/maps/9uTux1G4ZvQ2. They currently hold services at 9:30 and 10:45 am on Sunday morning, 5:30 pm on Sunday night, and 7 pm on Wednesday evenings. This church is also a member of the Bartow Baptist Association.
