Meet Andrew Bramlett, a dedicated local historian based in Kennesaw, Georgia. Serving as Vice President of the Kennesaw Historical Society and a member of the Historic Preservation Commission, Andrew’s passion for preserving the city’s rich heritage shines through his involvement with the Kennesaw City Cemetery and the Kennesaw Cemetery Foundation. From volunteering at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to managing social media for the Friends of Kennesaw Mountain, Andrew’s commitment to history extends far and wide. Recognized for his advocacy, Andrew received the 2018 Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council award and was honored as the 2023 Honorary City Historian. With his role as archivist for the Save Acworth History Foundation, Andrew continues to make a lasting impact on his community’s legacy.
