Little Prairie can be found on Johnson’s Map of Georgia and Alabama dated 1863 and on the U. S. Coast Survey Map of 1865. The exact location is unknown but appears to be southeast of Adairsville on Mosteller’s Mill Road. Little Prairie served as a post office between 1847 and 1880.
