Rowland Springs Baptist Church was established in 1866 by a small group of people. It is probable that the church was hosting meetings elsewhere prior to gaining land and constructing a building around 1866, but that is not known for sure. The church was given one acre of land by the Rowland family, whom the church is named after, where they constructed their first church building. The church cemetery was also established on this acre. The original building, however, was destroyed by fire. A lot of development was done to the church in the 1950s after they decided to become a fulltime church. In September of 1963, groundbreaking began on a new church sanctuary. A newer sanctuary was completed in 2005. Rowland Springs Baptist Church currently holds services Sunday at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, and 6:00 pm, and Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. The church is located at 79 Rowland Springs Road SE, Cartersville, GA 30121, which is marked on this Bartow Baptist Church map at https://goo.gl/maps/9uTux1G4ZvQ2.
