UNION HILL

The Union Hill School was most likely a neighborhood school which at some point ceased to operate. This assumption is based on August 7, 1917 minutes of the Bartow County Board of Education. Mr. R. A. Miller and others made a request to the Board that Union Hill School be re-established. No action was taken by the Board. Minutes dated September 7, 1915 does not list Union Hill among the other Board supported schools. Minutes of the board do not exist prior to April 1915.
