EUHARLEE INSTITUTE

The Euharlee Presbyterian Institute was opened in 1896. The two story building with two adjacent dormitories served Euharlee’s educational needs for the next 18 years. On September 10, 1914, Bartow County took over operations of the Institute renaming the facility the Bartow Rural High School. The old Institute building was torn down by Bartow County in 1952. The Euharlee City Hall occupies that site today.
