  • Major John Lewis  – He is buried in Adairsville and grave is marked:

CHARLES BAKER, PETE CROW, WILLIAM CHEEKE, WILLIAMS EDWARDS, JOHN WHITE

  • In the 1840 Census Pension List from Washington are listed the following Revolutionary soldiers that were still living in Bartow County:
    • John Lewis, age 83, living with Baylis W. Lewis
    • Rubin Edwards, age 82, living with Reuben Edwards
    • Hugh Bruster, age 80, living with William Brewster
    • Benjamin Harris, age 81, living with John Stokes
    • Charles Baker, age 79, living with Carles Baker
